ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½Íøվ’s undergraduate minor in sustainable development is catered toward students of any discipline who are interested in helping solve the triple bottom line challenge of their generation: economic well-being, environmental protection, and social inclusion. They join with like-minded students to collaborate in devising and implementing solutions to real-world challenges of sustainable development.
Most people associate sustainability with the environment, but this is actually just one of three pillars to sustainability. Indeed, to be truly sustainable, not only must ecological protection be ensured, but also economic well-being must ensure that humans are able to meet their own needs, and social inclusion must ensure that this well-being extends to all in an equitable manner.
