ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ excels in many areas of the Sustainability Tracking Assessment & Rating System report and performs better than most reporting peer institutions in the majority of metrics.
The multi-year, interdisciplinary projects focus on advancing ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½Íøվ’s Sustainability Strategic Plan 2030 goals which align with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
A solar partnership between ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾, Lafayette, Muhlenberg and Dickinson has been announced as the recipient of AASHE's 2020 Campus Sustainability Achievement Award.
The strategy will provide a roadmap for lessening the university’s impact on the environment.
The new plan focuses on 113 goals across six strategic areas.
ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ joins Climate Mayors Electric Vehicle Purchasing Collaborative, an initial group of 11 universities and colleges who pledge to increase total electric vehicle commitments by 225 fleets, to almost 3,800 electric vehicles.
The university’s efforts are part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability.
ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ and Lafayette, Muhlenberg and Dickinson colleges join forces for unprecedented renewable energy purchase. It will be the 12th largest higher education renewable energy project, in terms of megawatts, in the country.
Adrian Suarez ’22 joins ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ student team over summer to help improve the environmental landscape in his native Philippines.
