Q: How can the IBH program prepare students for new careers that emerge as the industry continues to evolve?
A: 鈥淥ne area that will be very exciting is the segment of value-based care. To the extent students have a good sense of population health, new care models, and specifically value-based care, there is a great opportunity to become the leaders of these companies tomorrow. Because the industry is so new, there isn鈥檛 really an established base of knowledge yet, which means there鈥檚 opportunity for new people to create those opportunities.鈥

A: 鈥淭his degree is an interesting option for anyone drawn to healthcare but aiming to keep their options open. Healthcare is broad and diverse, so spending time learning the nuances of each sector will help you match your skills and interests to the right career. Your first job won鈥檛 be your last, but with this degree, you鈥檒l have plenty of options.鈥
