First-Year Housing

All of our students live in learning-enhancing environments where we provide a variety of opportunities to live in a community that promotes diversity and embraces excellence, encourages insightful faculty-student interactions and works to develop a strong sense of community. In addition to these experiences, we also offer themed housing options where students are able to live and learn around a certain topic of interest. We encourage you to seek out information on our website to determine if a themed experience might be right for you.

Most residence hall rooms are doubles, but there are also a limited number of singles and triples. Each room is furnished with a mattress, desk with chair, bookshelf, dresser or built-in drawers and a closet or wardrobe. Wireless internet access is available throughout all residence halls in both bedrooms and common areas. Within the residence halls, common areas include lounges, kitchens, study rooms, laundry rooms and game rooms. Vending machines are also located in each residence hall.

If you plan to commute to ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾, you will need to petition the for exemption from the residency requirement.

Themed Housing

Themed Housing Communities

There are eight first-year Themed Housing Communities which have been intentionally designed to help first-year students transition to ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ while creating connections within the campus and South Bethlehem communities.

Admitted First-Year Students

One of the greatest things about the ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ college experience is residential life. Most students who attend ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ live on campus which offers opportunities for fun, growth and belonging. Admitted students will receive a Welcome Kit from the Office of First Year experience outlining all the important dates and information they need to know to prepare for a successful start at ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ (including about Housing)!

Transfer Students

Students transferring into ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ will have the opportunity to live in on-campus housing. There is a residency requirement for first and second year students which, based on some transfer circumstances, may be waived if a student meets the exemption requirements. The housing team will work with transfer students to find the most suitable housing for your individual situation.

Each year, Orientation leaders welcome first-year students on campus and help unload their belongings on move-in day.
